Whenever I hear that a star, or someone related to a star, especially through marriage, is being sued for anything, I immediately think that the ‘wronged party’ is actually just someone looking for a cash hand out. So I take this with a grain of salt. But the fact is that Cindy Crawford’s husband, Rande Gerber, is being sued by some ex-employees for not complying to his sexual demands while they worked for him. The two women who filed the lawsuit were waitresses at one of the restaurants that he managed and apparently he wanted them to go just a leeetle bit outside of their job description. From US, 

“Rande Gerber, the business mogul husband of Cindy Crawford, is being sued for sexual harassment by two women who used to work for him.
A lawsuit was filed in March in San Diego County Superior Court, Usmagazine.com confirms, by a pair of former waitresses. According to TMZ.com, which first broke the news, the women claimed they were fired from a restaurant owned by Gerber’s company for refusing to give in to the advances of Gerber and other managers where they worked.

On one occasion in 2008, while working at the Moonstone Lounge in San Diego, one of the women claims the supermodel’s husband attempted to kiss her three times during the night, then “put his hand up [her] dress in between her legs in an attempt to fondle her crotch,” TMZ reports.

The women are reportedly suing for unspecified damages.

“These allegations were previously investigated and shown to be baseless,” a Gerber Group spokesperson told Us in a statement Friday. “This lawsuit has no merit.”

This really is just perverted behavior if the allegations turn out to be true. And from the husband of Cindy Crawford no less! How high can your expectations be when Cindy freakin Crawford is your wife and you’re still not satisfied?!? Hopefully this does just turn out to be a couple of women who think they see an opportunity and Cindy and Rande can go back to leading the happy, low-profile life they once did.
