Dennis Rodman books himself into rehab again

Troubled basketball legend Dennis Rodman is headed back to rehab.

The former NBA star has reportedly agreed to enter an outpatient treatment program to try to sober up.

The announcement comes just days after a judge ordered the cross-dressing star to pay $250,000 to a former Las Vegas casino employee for groping and humiliating her at work.

The 47-year-old was also recently booted off the US version of Celebrity Apprentice by business tycoon Donald Trump after he failed to show up for a task. He denied a hangover was the reason for the no-show but cameras had caught him boozing with a bevy of beauties the night before.

Rodman, a former contestant on UK Celebrity Big Brother, has fought a very public battle with addiction over the years, including several arrests for drunk driving and domestic violence.

Rodman admitted himself to rehab exactly a year ago after being arrested for hitting a woman at a Los Angeles hotel.

His decision to re-enter rehab was prompted by family and friends, according to US reports.

The concerned group, including former Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson, reportedly reached out to the star, who refused to admit himself to an inpatient facility – but agreed to the outpatient program.
