Backstage After a 'Dancing' Surprise

"The Insider"'s Samantha Harris took her "Sam Cam" backstage at "Dancing with the Stars" after 'Lil Kim and Derek Hough were unexpectedly ousted from the ballroom!

'Lil Kim tells "The Insider" that competing on the show taught her how to deal with pressure and intense situations.

The remaining contestants tell "The Insider" that they'll miss having 'Lil Kim on the show, but are now looking forward to the semi-finals.

  • melissa is not a very good dancer, she has a good body and thats all. the judges like that especially Lin, thats all he talk about.
    and when they gave her a perfect score i was in shock. this show is not fair

    I like Ty but come on Chuck was way better!!
    I am not sad to see that Lil' Kim go but again she was better the Ty.

  • Lil Kim could dance but I think the show is partly about the most improved and I believe that Ty fits right into that category and I believe it has brought him out of his shell. I didn't think he'd get past the first couple weeks but he stepped up...

  • DWTS- I love the show, but it's not about most improved. It's about who can learn ballroom dancing. Lil Kim was WAY better and Ty is a joke compared to the other stars!

  • Lil Kim can dance you can't take that away from her, she started dancing great. I do believe that Ty has improved the most and his dancing showes his hard work and dedication. I voted for him and think he does deserve to stay. Go Ty!

  • I think 'Lil Kim deserved to stay longer than she did - I too was in shock when they called her name...that's it for me - no more Dancing with the Stars!

  • DWTS - I thought - was about taking a star that had no dancing experience and see who improves the most. I feel that Ty does deserve to be there. I thought Chuck deserved to stay too. When you put someone with a skill like cheerleader or gymnastics...
