More than 150 members of New York's media elite gathered at the posh Hudson River Cafe last night to celebrate Mexico's victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla, and to honor one of their own on his birthday: WABC-TV/7 news anchor Ken Rosato. New York's top-rated morning and noon newsman was joined by colleagues Lori Stokes, Diana Williams, Sade Baderinwa, Scott Clark, Jeff Smith, Sandy Kenyan and scores of managers, producers, writers, family members and friends. While Rosato was celebrating his birthday, he urged those present to help celebrate the Mexican holiday in honor of the millions in Mexico who could not do the same. Mexicans had been told not to gather in public places until the threat of the Swine Flu passes. Other notables spoted were Newsman Chance Howell, artist Sean Paul Ayala and Model John Brand. Those present also kicked in to help raise money for the Saint Anthony Fund.
