The Boston Globe reports that cops throughout Massachusetts have been doing seemingly excessive information searches on "high-profile" citizens, including Brady and Damon, through the state's Criminal Offender Record Information system. An audit released on Wednesday that law-enforcement personnel had done 968 searches on New England Patriots quarterback Brady alone—looking for information on everything from his home address and driver's license photo to whether he had purchased a gun.
