Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Dany Garcia johnson announce their split
American actor and professional wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has called off his relationship by separating with his wife Dany Garcia Johnson. The couple was married 10 years ago in 1997 and has a 5-year-old daughter, Simone Alexander. The pair feels that they were fortunate to spend 17 years together and after the split they look forward spending the rest of their life as good friends and business partners.

In a statement for People’s magazine the couple said:

We will continue to advance and manage our business interests, our philanthropic efforts and most importantly the raising of our child together.

Johnson has the record for most reigns as WWF/E Champion and held the title seven times. Since 2004, Johnson has mainly focused on acting and has made clear that he has no future plans for wrestling

Johnson has appeared in the films like Walking Tall, The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King. He recently hosted the Stunt Man Awards and has finished shooting a movie that is based on the television show Get Smart and stars Steve Carell.

Garcia Johnson is the CEO of a wealth management firm.

  • well what i say about this, husband and wife are the true relationship above of all relationship. love is every thing , 17 years they spent for what?? to get spilit after 17 years? love is long life and never get tired.

  • I think that is great when two people can split up but remain civil for the sake of their child. Very, very mature and I commend them.
