Kate Gosselin 'Hesitant' to Believe Reports

Kate Gosselin of the TLC reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8" spoke with "Today Show" host Meredith Vieira on how her family is dealing with the allegations of her husband having an affair.

"It's one thing that we did not envision when we started our show," Kate says of the press coverage of her marriage. "To be honest, I'm very hesitant to believe any of it."

Kate says she and Jon are handling the situation privately. "We're working through it together."

She continues, "Our kids are centrally in our focus. They always have been."

In April, a paparazzo photographed Jon leaving a Pennsylvania bar in the early morning with a woman who has since identified herself as 23-year-old Deanna Hummel, while his wife Kate was out of town promoting her latest book, Eight Little Faces.

  • These people are ridiculous. A father of 8 kids that the public paid for with donations that they weren't even grateful for, sits in bars til 2 a.m. Very foolish man. Now the hag can take him to the cleaners and he will have to get a real job.

  • The last 2 episodes of the season I could see tention between them when they sat in the "Chair" she would not interupt him or correct him or anything like that and just before the airing of the show Jon was photographed at a Bar with College girls....

  • Kate is an obsessive compulsive, controlling, psycho and that house is total chaos with all those kids and cameras recording their every move.. It's not too far of a stretch to imagine Jon doing something like this.
