Actress Billie Piper and DJ Chris Evans' split is now official

Piper, 25 had met Evans when in 2001 she appeared on Evans’ TV show TFI Friday and after five months of courtship the two got married in Las Vegas. The duo separated after three years in 2004, when things did not go well. Evan is 17 years elder to Piper and wooed the teenager with a Ferrari that was all full of roses.

The Doctor Who actress, now regrets her marriage with Evan that was attended by just six friends and cost only £250. Later on, the pair had returned to UK after 18 months of traveling. At that time Piper was in so much love with Evans that she even left her acting career with a role in BBC’s The Canterbury Tales.

Piper was the youngest female solo artist to grab number one with her debut single, Because We Want to, in 1998. Evan has recently won Sony awards for his BBC Radio 2 show.

Though Evans is worth an estimated $60 million but still Piper has not asked for any support from her ex-husband.
