Newlywed Salma Hayek has revealed her new husband Francois-Henri Pinault is her secret stylist.
Salma, 42, recently eloped to Paris for a Valentine’s Day wedding with partner Francois, 46, who is also the father of her 19-month-old daughter Valentina.
Talking about the Bottega Veneta dress she wore to this year’s Golden Globes, she said: “I’m going to say it. I shouldn’t say it but…”
She added to the UK edition of InStyle magazine: “The truth is… that dress was picked by Francois. He was my stylist.”
Francois is the CEO of fashion empire PPR, which oversees brands such as Balenciaga, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent.
Salma added: “It was Christmas and I was just overwhelmed with so many things to do. He said: ‘Let me help you. How can I help?’ And I said: ‘Well, I have to pick a dress for the Golden Globes.’”
She added: “So Bottega Veneta sent swatches and sketches and Francois worked with the creative director Tomas Maier and he took care of everything.”
Their daughter Valentina was born in September 2007 and talking about her daughter Salma said: “She’s a little dictator!”
She added: “She is unique, magical – definitely the most colourful person I’ve ever met. I feel so connected to her, but, at the same time, we are different. I discover something new about her every
