LOST Star Wins Celebrity Poker Tournament

What is it with celebrities and poker? Why don't you see celebrity backgammon or Yahtzee tournaments? I would love to see Celebrity Barrel of Monkeys or even Celebrity Candyland. Well, whatever it is that pulls celebrities to the game of poker, it happened again last Thursday at the Hotel Sofitel in Los Angeles. The MTV Movie Awards Gift Suite and Celebrity Poker Tournament sponsored by GBK Productions and the World Poker Tour drew in celebrities like Shannon Elizabeth (when is she not playing poker?), Jorge Garcia ("LOST"), Ricki Lake, Cheryl Hines, Rodney Peete and Jason Mewes, among others.

At the end of it all, Jorge Garcia found himself the winner and snagged a 10K donation to Michael J. Fox's charity as well as a Lex Diamond watch valued at $10,000. Shannon Elizabeth was the runner-up, winning a Pro Sun Tanning System that tans you while you shower (more on that in an upcoming post).
