Long tells "The Insider" that he was very excited to be a part of the film because he has always been a huge Sam Raimi fan.
"A movie that is fun and you can feel your adrenaline pumping, that's what Sam does better than anyone," he says. "It's such an honor to be in this movie. As a fan of horror movies. This is every Sam Raimi fans' dream come true to actually be in one of his movies."
Alison Lohman explains why she feels fans enjoy watching horror films.
"I guess escapism," she says. "To get away from everyday monotonous life. To get your adrenaline going again."
'Drag Me to Hell' is the horrifying tale of a Los Angeles loan officer Christine Brown (Lohman), who finds herself under a supernatural curse after refusing to grant a home loan extension to an old woman, the mysterious Mrs. Ganush (Raver.) Justin Long plays Christine's boyfriend, Professor Clay Dalton.
