Motherhood moved Julie Bowen to jump into action and help raise funds and awareness for Jacob's Cure. The mission of the group—founded by Jordana Holovach and named in honor of her son, Jacob, who is affected by the fatal disease—struck a chord with Bowen, herself a new mum. "I was just out of the hospital after having the baby and was filled with hormones and gratitude for having a healthy  child," said Bowen of taking the call from the non-profit. "I’d do anything for another mum." The Julie gave birth to a boy, Oliver McLanahan Phillips April10th 2007.
