Kate has recently had to respond to media reports suggesting that Jon had an affair with another woman, and more recently a tabloid allegation that she herself was cheating on her husband with the family's bodyguard. Both Jon and Kate have denied the cheating allegations.
Now, the reality star of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" tells People.com that she has doubts about whether her marriage will succeed. "I don't know that we're in the same place anymore, that we want the same thing," she says about her life with Jon. "I've been struggling with the question of 'Who is this person?' for awhile."
Kate also reveals to the magazine her thoughts after hearing the name of the alleged other woman -- 23-year-old Deanna Hummel -- whose brother claimed her sister carried on a months-long affair with Jon.
"I remember where I was the first time I heard her name. It's one of those things where you can try to make it go away, but there's blaring, red flashing lights."
She says the idea of a future without Jon seemed hard to imagine in the beginning, but now seems like more of a possibility. "You can't imagine yourself in a certain position when all this first happens, but you can do it over some months."
Despite all the rumors and public scrutiny, Kate tells People she still has hope that her marriage can be saved. "I will never give up hope that every member of our family can be absolutely happy again."
