Steve Carell dishes on his son's latest habits

The other day I walked in and he was picking his nose - I'm trying to get him to stop doing that - and eating it. And I heard him say, 'Wow!' I turned and said, 'What, Johnny? What's up?' And he said, 'This is a spicy boogie.' And I was like, 'C'mon, man, don't revel in it!' And he was sitting on the couch in just a diaper and he had his hand inside his diaper. And I said, 'Johnny, what are you doing?' And he said, 'I'm playing with my penis.' And then he said, 'It won't go down.' And then he followed that up with, 'It broke.' For one thing, I've been gone a lot recently, but I felt sad that I missed my son's first erection. But I do vow to be there when he loses his virginity.

Steven and his wife, actress Nancy Walls, also have a daughter, Elisabeth Anne, 6.
