“It didn’t matter how I felt, I was just excited to race,” Phelps told press, back in the pool after a suspension related to scandalous photos showing the Olympian smoking from a bong.
“That’s the most important thing. I still have that drive and that passion to race.”
Of course he won both the the 200-meter freestyle and 100-meter butterfly races. He’s an amazing athlete, let’s just hope he stays focused and stops partying so much.
