Demetri Martin is Taking Woodstock to Cannes

Demetri Martin has come along since his guest appearance on Flight of the Conchords. He is currently in France where he attended the premiere of his new film, Taking Woodstock, at the 62nd International Cannes Film Festival last night. He was joined by his co-stars Emile Hirsch, Katherine Waterson, Imelda Staunton, and Director Ang Lee.

Taking Woodstock is set in 1969 the movie follows a down-on-his-luck interior designer who moves upstate and inadvertently helps stage Woodstock on the grounds of his neighbor’s farm in White Lake, NY. It’s directed by Ang Lee. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Emile Hirsch, Live Schrieber, Paul Dano and Dan Fogler co-star. (Cinema Blend)

Taking Woodstock hits U.S. theaters August 16th.
