One of ABC's newly unveiled shows for the upcoming season is "Cougar Town," which brings Courteney Cox back to network TV as a recently divorced sexy single mother.

In a press release annoucing its fall lineup, the network says the comedy will show the former "Friends" star's character exploring "the honest truths about dating and aging in our beauty and youth obsessed culture."

The show is one of four new comedies ABC will air back-to-back on Wednesday nights -- one of which will star Kelsey Grammer. The former "Frasier" star will appear in "Hank," a show about a corporate titan who suddenly finds himself out of work, almost out of money and around a wife and kids he's not used to spending time with.

The other comedies are "The Middle" -- focusing on a middle class family living in the middle of Indiana -- and "Modern Family," which is shot from the perspective of an unseen documentary filmmaker. "Modern Family" stars Ed O'Neill and ABC says the show "takes a modern look at the complications that come with being a family in 2009."

The network will also debut "Flash Forward," a new sci-fi thriller, as well as two new dramas, "The Forgotten" and "Eastwick." "The Forgotten" is a new crime show from producer Jerry Bruckheimer in which a team of dedicated amateurs work on cases involving unidentified victims.

Rebecca Romijn will star in "Eastwick," which focuses on three very different women in a small New England town who find themselves drawn together by a mysterious man who unleashes unique powers in each of them.

Coming back to ABC will be "Better Off Ted," "Castle," "Scrubs and "True Beauty." These shows join the previously announced returning series "America's Funniest Home Videos," "The Bachelor," "Brothers & Sisters," "Dancing with the Stars," "Desperate Housewives," "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost," "Private Practice," "Supernanny," "Ugly Betty," "Wife Swap" and "20/20."
