Chace Crawford Steams Up the 'Gossip Girl' Set

Kick off your Sunday shoes. "Gossip Girl" hunk Chace Crawford is set to star in the remake of 'Footloose.'

Paramount Pictures confirms to ET that the 23-year old will play Ren McCormack in the film -- stepping into the dancing shoes Kevin Bacon filled in the 1984 original, which told the tale of a big-city kid who moves to a small town where dancing is banned!

'Footloose' will be helmed by 'High School Musical' director Kenny Ortega and is expected to begin filming in March 2010.

Who cares if he can dance or not, he's so gorgeous, I'd love him in the film even if he had 2 left feet!!!! Good Luck Chace!!!! xxx
