Who Won Dancing With the Stars? (5/19)

Quick results post from the season finale tonight of Dancing with the Stars. The three pairs still in the competition were Melissa Rycroft/Tony Dovolani, Shawn Johnson/Mark Ballas and Gilles Marini/Cheryl Burke.

The contestants danced their final dance for judges scoring tonight:
Shawn and Mark danced the cha cha---received three tens.
Melissa and Tony danced the samba---received three tens.
Gilles and Cheryl danced the Argentine tango---received three tens.

Tonight's scores were added to last night's scores and viewer votes. Melissa and Tony came in third. Less than one percent separated Gilles/Cheryl and Shawn/Mark-making this the closest race ever on DWTS. Shawn and Mark were crowned the new winners of Dancing With the Stars---and they seemed absolutely shocked. "This has been the best experience ever," Johnson said. Runner-up Gilles added, "I'm so happy for Shawn and Mark. They worked so hard." Clip below:
