Robert Pattinson Takes On New 'Amoral' Role

Robert Pattinson is reportedly scheduled to star in yet another film role that he says is quite different from his 'Twilight' character Edward Cullen.

The actor announced at the Cannes Film Festival that he has been cast in the film 'Bel Ami,' Variety reports.

The film is an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's short story and is scheduled to begin shooting in Paris next year.

"It's a totally amoral character," Pattinson tells the trade magazine.

In addition to his role in the 'Twilight' franchise and 'Bel Ami,' the actor is also set to star in the upcoming film 'Remember Me.'
