He said: “I had dinner with Marco Pierre White when he owned Mirabelle and the food bill for four was £250 and the wine bill was £26,000. We drank five of the greatest wines of all time, including a bottle of Chateau d’Yquem.”
He added: “It’s a pudding wine and costs £10,000. I asked Marco if anyone had ever bought it before and he told me Johnny Depp came in with Vanessa Paradis and still had it in his hand when the paparazzi were chasing him and he poured it over them.”
He added: “That’s £10,000 worth of Chateau d’Yquem over Britain’s finest paparazzi – good old Johnny Depp!”
