Season five of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" debuts on Monday night on TLC and now there's a new sneak peek inside the show, where it's clear the problems between the Jon and Kate Gosselin are starting to take a toll.

 

"Everything is falling apart," she says in the new clip. "I feel like the world is on my shoulders."

Jon admits that all of the cameras are starting to affect him for the worse. "I can't be myself," he says. "I'm not feeling so hot. I might as well be in prison."

But Kate is keeping hope alive. "I will not give up," she says. "I will not lay down and die."

  • i think he went too far with the money and he thinks that the cameras will leave him alone since he is having a divorce with Kate... Well hello new flash no the camers will still be following him

  • You know what the problem is that Kate wants the fame and fortune when the kids are suffering because Jon wants a normal life without paparazzi and all. I agree with Jon though marrige is being split up because of this. The twins don't get any attention its all on the sextuplets. Kate has become a greedy little monster!

  • Ridiculous. Your husband is screaming for help, and the only thing you can think about is yourself and your next check. No one is thinking about the kids. NO ONE. This is no longer a "documentary" of their lives, they are out there for every pervert and freak to salivate over...parents don't care.

  • I'm not surprised at any of this. The tension in that relationship was palpable from the very first season. I've never even been able to sit through an entire half-hour episode because of it.

  • If Jon feels that way I think the show needs to end and Kate should listen to how he feels before it is to late. They need to sit down like adults and discuss it.

    • How about just three specials a year to show us how the family is getting along and watching the children grow? Maybe Jon should get a job away from the house (i.e., 9-5) and Kate could go back to her nursing profession. Invest your money wisely and you should have enough to educate your children as they wish. Nothing is more important than keeping a family together and happy. The love of money is the root of all evil, everyone knows that. Putting that advice to work will solve most of the problems that seem to exist. Love the show but the specials (maybe three a year) would suffice. We don't need to know everything that goes on every day in someone else's life. God bless.
