Sean Penn’s Marriage Drama Over for Now
Sean Penn and his wife Robin Wright Penn are back together as a happy and loving couple after Sean recently filed for divorce. Apparently those papers have been torn up and thrown out and the two have decided to give things another go. Before you get all excited and happy that these two are sticking it out, it’s important to remember that this isn’t the first time these two have been headed to alimony payments and division of assets before deciding to reconcile and work things out. From Daily Blabber,

“Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn have called off their divorce proceedings — again. According to the NY Daily News, the Oscar winner filed a request in Marin County Superior Court to dismiss their legal separation case, which Sean filed last month.

They couple originally filed for divorce in December 2007, but that petition was later dismissed.

“It was an arrogant mistake,” Sean told the newspaper of their most recent legal split.”

Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for people trying to work out their marriages and I’m always happy to hear that not everybody thinks that divorce is an easy out. But I think in this case, divorce may never have even been an option. I only say that because this is the second time it’s happened and even from Sean Penn’s mouth, it seems as though someone may have thrown a tantrum and had papers drawn up for drama sakes rather than ever really wanting out.
