The highly anticipated season premiere of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' broke records for the TLC network.

The episode, which was preceded by shocking headlines and affair allegations, drew in a whopping 9.8 million viewers, which is more than double the show's average viewers.

The season five premiere, where Kate admitted she doesn't know if the pair will stay together, was the most watched show in TLC's history.
