Last month, we reported the spotlight-shunning duo had quietly applied for a marriage license in Brooklyn, where they have a townhouse in Cobble Hill. At the time, friends said the lovers, who met while filming "Brokeback Mountain," would likely get married at a local church and have a party at the River Café afterward. Yesterday, Ledger was spotted wearing a wedding ring as he walked with the couple's daughter, Matilda.
I tried to coax an answer out of Matilda by bribing her with a new stuffed animal, but had no luck. She just gurgled at me. I guess we'll just have to wait for that official statement from their publicists.
