After sustaining a minor injury on the Long Island, N.Y. set of Salt today, Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital. She reportedly bumped her head and suffered a small cut between her eyes. A spokesperson for the movie’s studio, Sony, confirmed that Jolie is now fine. In a statement, the studio said: “This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie Salt, Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie was taken to a local hospital, examined and released. She is now back on set and production of the film has resumed.” [EW]
The Insider” confirms that Angelina Jolie was taken to the hospital after an accident on the set of her new action flick.
“This morning, while filming an action sequence during production of her new movie ‘Salt,’ Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury,” a rep for Sony Pictures says. “As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”
