Kimora Lee Simmons Twitters: It's a Boy at The Insider

Kimora Lee Simmons and her partner Djimon Hounsou have welcomed a baby boy.

The 34-year-old Baby Phat entrepreneur announced the news on her Twitter page on Saturday. "It's a boy! Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes! More to come. Thank God. And God Bless! Kimora + Djimon Love & Light, KLS," the posting reads.

Before the big event, Simmons even posted Twitter messages updating her fans on her labor pains and posted a picture of herself in the hospital. "It's time !! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!!" Her last Twitter update before making the announcement reads: "Having contractions now! Ooo- wee! It's like WHOA!"

Simmons already has two daughters -- Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6 -- with Russell Simmons. It is the first child for Hounsou, 45, who starred in 'Amistad' and 'Blood Diamond.'
