"The Insider" confirms that iconic "Kung Fu" actor David Carradine has died at 72.

His manager Chuck Binder says the actor arrived in Bangkok on Monday to film 'Stretch.' He was found dead Wednesday morning in his hotel room by a member of the production company.

 There is speculation that the actor took his own life. Thai newspaper The Nation quotes a police source as saying he was found hanged in his hotel room.

UPDATE: An employee at The Nation spoke with "The Insider" about their report, saying that Carradine had been invited to dinner with the film crew on June 3 and did not show up. They were unable to contact him, but believed he was resting because of his age.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the hotel says they are "currently cooperating with the Thai Police who are still investigating the matter. As investigations are presently in progress, we are not in a position to discuss this case nor reveal any details pertaining to the case, moreover out of respect for the family members."

"The Insider" spoke with a representative at Chulalongkorn Hospita, where David Carradine’s body was taken for an autopsy. We're told the initial autopsy results will be released in two days.
