During a performance for the opening number of Sunday night's Tony Awards, rocker and reality TV star Bret Michaels was struck in the head by a descending set piece -- and now details are emerging about the extent of his injuries.

Citing the star's rep, the Associated Press reports that Michaels fractured his nose and received three stitches in his lip.

Michaels had an X-ray taken, but his rep says he is "pretty bruised up" and will get a CAT scan on Monday as a precautionary measure.

The rocker performed with his '80s metal band Poison as part of the 63rd Annual Tony Awards show's opening number on Sunday night at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.
