Looking dapper in a black jacket, lightening bolt necklace and his trademark eye-shadow, Adam is surrounded by thick smoke in a new poster to promote his upcoming album. The "American Idol" runner-up will release his debut CD this fall. An exact date has not been announced, though it is likely to follow AI winner Kris Allen's debut, which was announced yesterday.
"I’m thrilled that we've come to a creative and collaborative partnership and look forward to developing a really exciting album,” Adam tells ET. "We are 100% on the same page and are all anxiously awaiting the start of the recordings. It’s going to be ridiculous! Get Ready!!!"
The 27-year-old San Diego native had 4 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this summer, "Mad World," "No Boundaries," "A Change Is Gonna Come," and "One."
The top 10 AI finalists will be on the road this summer with the American Idol’s Live tour.
