Megan Fox is her own worst critic.

Although she praises the film franchise, in a new interview with EW.com the actress says her performance in the first 'Transformers' movie was "terrible."

Asked how she feels about the movie, she says "I'm terrible in it. It's my first real movie and it's not honest and not realistic. The movie wasn't bad, I just wasn't proud about what I did."

She adds that the sequel is "going to be the best action movie of the summer. Hands down, it will win that. But it's not trying to be a Golden Globe-nominated film. It's a bad@$$ popcorn summer movie."

Asked if she thinks she's a good actress, her reply is extremely candid. ''If I really buckle down, I think one day I could be a very good actress," she says. "But so far, I haven't done anything yet.''

  • I think that she's right. I totally agree that the second movie was better than the first. i mean, did you guys see what optimus did before megatron killed him, he was totally beating the crap out of Grindor, Starscream, and Megatron, that was freaking awesome!!!

  • I think thats pretty noble that she can admit that she is . Yea she is, but you can't write her off as being that forever. I believe she can be good if she really tries. Right now, she isn't trying.

    • The thing is some people don't have to try. Well, a good actor just is. Whatever their character is they are. Just say the lines and feel them. It's as easy as that. And it's not like she's never acted before. Let's not forget she was on television for I think a couple of seasons of Hope and Faith back in the day. She was fine on that show so what happened to make her suck so much now is the real question? Having said that, I liked Jennifer's Body and totally didn't hate her performance. She was alright. But blown away by Seyfried of course. And Adam Brody was awesome and hot. Damn.

  • I think transformers 1 and 2 were very great movies I actually watched the first one like 20 times I saw the second one in theaters recently though, Megan fox ehh I don't really think shes a great actor but she was pretty good in my opinion...she is very hot though :P..Shia LeBouf is a good actor he has played in so many things...even stevens, Disturbia, transformers 1, more but I can't think of them off the top of my head

  • HUMBLENESS is the mark of a distinguished individual who will go very far. Hiding behind an email address on the internet and throwning darts at accomplished people is cowardly and lame ... and the mark of an individual who probably breaks up with someone through an email. UGH!
