"[Nick] is my best friend, and we still hang out all the time. And we've definitely reconnected," Miley told Tennessee radio station 107. 5 The River on Friday. "We don't know what's going to happen in the future, but right now we're just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can."
"We both just kind of saw each other again [and] kind of decided this whole thing was so stupid,” she said of her and Nick's apparent rift after their 2007 breakup. "And mostly I had just kind of gotten so separated from [Nick's] family and finally I was just kind of over it. We were all over the separation."
"So I was really happy to be back in their lives and them be back in mine. And our families are super-happy that we're hanging out again," Miley said.
The "Hannah Montana" star broke up with her boyfriend Justin Gaston earlier this week.
The Disney Channel has signed up for a fourth season of it's Hannah Montana series starring Miley Cyrus. Thoughts?
