Internet singing sensation Susan Boyle missed two weekend performances on the "Britain's Got Talent" live tour -- but is set to return to the stage tonight.

Her spokeswoman tells ET: "Susan had a rest day yesterday, which is why she missed the Manchester performance.She is set to sing at tonight's Glasgow show. This was a decision between tour executives and Susan -- not doctors as has been reported."

The 48-year-old singer -- who received standing ovations at her previous tour shows -- was scheduled to sing in a matinee and evening show Sunday at the Manchester Evening News Arena, but did not perform.

Boyle was hospitalized earlier this month due to exhaustion, but was still planning to perform on the tour.

  • I like Susan but the spotlight is not for her. Not everyone can endure that schedule. Her fame just started and she's already exhausted and stressed out.
