Hollywood’s 10 top-earning actors

You may be surprised (I was) but according to Forbes‘ annual list of Hollywood’s Top-earning Actors, the best paid actor of 2008 was your favorite and apparently irreplaceable Indiana Jones, 66-year old Harrison Ford. The soon to be married actor earned $65 million for his part of Indiana in the fourth installment of the adventure series, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

According to Forbes, Ford had a share in the profit of the film that earned $786 million at the worldwide box office.

2. Adam Sandler, $55m

Not bad for somebody who starred in such a critically smashed You Don’t Mess With The Zohan and more friendly welcomed Bedtime Stories. Besides these two movies of 2008 Adam is going to release his latest flick, Funny People, directed by his pal Judd Apatow.

3. Will Smith, $45m

America’s favorite actor came third in this big money race. Say thank you to Han and Seven Pounds.

4. Eddie Murphy, $40m

Though Meet Dave failed in the world box office, Eddie still has an ace of two upcoming flicks, Imagine That and A Thousand Words.

5. Nicolas Cage, $40m

Nicolas Cage is known as the most hardworking actor in Hollywood. In the next two years we’re going to see six new films with the Gone in 60 Seconds actor. Excited about that?
