Brad Pitt & Family Donate $1 Million to Hospital

"The Insider" has confirmed that family man Brad Pitt, along with his relatives, have generously donated $1 million to a new pediatric cancer center in the actor's hometown of Springfield, Missouri.

The center, St. John’s Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center, is named after Pitt's mother and will open this summer on the fifth floor of St. John’s Children’s Hospital.

Brad's brother and sister-in-law Doug and Lisa Pitt, along with his sister and brother-in-law Julie and Rob Neal, also contributed to the endowment that will fund the region’s first pediatric oncologist/hematologist that will work at the cancer center.
