Jack Black: I need to grow up

The star, who will turn 40 this summer, said he needed to set a good example for his two sons.

He said: “I am a grown up. I’m going to be 40 on August 28 and so it’s time to put childish things away. This is the new me - suits, ties, adults and grown-up times from now on. I have two boys. I have to be the guy that leads the way, that shows them how the world works.”

Black also admitted he nearly had to call off a show because of a nasty bug.

He said: “Just last weekend I almost thought I’d have to cancel the show, I felt like I was knocking on death’s door. I’ve never had this thing before where it has to get out of you from all directions. I don’t want to go into the grisly details but it was explosive, simultaneous explosions.”
