Kim Kardashian has revealed she gave advice to The Hills star Heidi Montag on whether she should appear in Playboy

The 28-year-old reality star, who has already done a shoot for the magazine, said she received a phone call from Heidi, 22.

She said: “Actually, I was in Mexico and I got a call from Heidi saying: ‘Call me right now.’ So I called her and she had said to me: ‘What do you think? What’s your opinion on if I were to do Playboy?’”

She added: “I think it’s a very classy magazine. It’s artsy. I talked her through the whole process and helped her make up her mind.”

But Kim admitted she wasn’t the only factor in Heidi’s decision to appear in the men’s magazine - Heidi’s husband Spencer Pratt also gave his opinion.

She said: “Her and Spencer talked it over. They felt it was the right thing for her to do and I’m anxious to see it.”

Talking about her own 2007 shoot for the magazine, Kim said: “It was a really fun process for me. I’m excited to see what the pictures will turn out to be.”
