Uh Oh, Jennifer Love Hewitt is writing a book about dating.

She does know a lot about dating, but I’m not sure you should be taking advice from her. She clearly has not mastered the art of “marriage”. So if you want to learn how to get a guy to date you and then break up with you before you can claim the “prize” then by all means, go for it. Personally, I think taking dating advice from someone who has obviously failed so miserably at it is a bad idea. Coincidentally, I never take gym advice from fat douches either. Call me crazy. Details after the jump.

The actress, who is currently romancing her ‘Ghost Whisperer’ co-star Jamie Kennedy, tackles issues including text message flirting and how to mend a broken heart.

Jennifer said: “I thought it was time to share the real story of what I’ve learned navigating the dating waters. Hopefully, in addition to having a good laugh, women reading this will learn from some of the hard lessons I’ve learnt.”

The 30-year-old actress has romanced several famous hunks, including John Mayer and Carson Daly.

She split from fiance Ross McCall last year and recently revealed she wants current lover Jamie to propose in the next year.

The book, titled ‘The Day I Shot Cupid’, promises to have a “surprisingly wicked sense of humour as Jennifer explores the new landscape of modern dating and offers up a wide range of practical tips, from text-flirting to what men and women really want, and how to start over after a break-up”.

Ellen Archer, president and publisher of Hyperion and VOICE who will release the book, said: “We were instantly sold on Hewitt’s sassy and irreverent take on modern love and felt that her own confidence would be inspirational to women of all ages.”

Jennifer’s book will be available from March 2010.
