Fergie's Husband Speaks on will.i.am & Perez Hilton

"The Insider" spoke to Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel Monday night in Los Angeles, and the actor opened up about the confrontation on Sunday night between Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

"The Insider" spoke to Duhamel Monday night at the 'Transfomers: Revenge of The Fallen' premiere in Los Angeles.

"When you get rich saying hateful things sometimes you ask for it," Duhamel says."It's an unfortunate incident and I hope it goes away."

Perez Hilton is accusing Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio "Polo" Molina of punching him in the face at an after party for the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto after a verbal altercation between Hilton and will.i.am.

Will.i.am responded to the accusations with a video blog and explained that he approached the celebrity blogger to defend Fergie, his friend and band mate, who spoke to Hilton about unfavorable blog reports on his Web site. Will.i.am claims that it was a fan who punched Hilton rather than a member of his entourage.

  • Perez did not just criticize her album, the coward stood in a public place and yelled and insulted her and called her horrible names, and she was hurt by that. He deserved to be punched badly. He is verbally abusive.
