Apple Computer Founder Gets Transplant

Apple Computer founder Steve Jobs is recovering from a liver transplant.

A doctor at the Memphis, Tenn., hospital where Jobs received the transplant says the Apple founder is in recovery and has an "excellent prognosis."

The doctor adds that Jobs was the most ill of all the patients on the hospital’s waiting list when the organ was donated. The date of the operation was not disclosed.
