Perez Hilton attacked by Will I Am ( PEREZ Statement ) 1 of 2
Perez Hilton’s response to Will.I.Am—[part 2]
GLAAD wants Perez Hilton to apologize for using a slur against Will.I.Am before his attack.
Hollywood is speaking out about Perez Hilton’s whopping and everyone seems to be laughing at Perez and not with him. Perez wrote a lengthy statement on his website as a follow-up to his viral video comment where he slings more hate speech at rapper Will.I.Am. Perez Hilton has said he won’t apologize because he was the victim. TMZ caught the Perez Hilton fight video on tape and things don’t look good for Perez.
American Idol Winner Kelly Clarkson said she wasn’t surprised that Perez Hilton got beat down because there is little love for the blogger in Hollywood.
The American Idol alum spoke to Virgin Radio following Sunday’s Much Music Video Awards, and among the topics broached was the alleged assault perpetrated on Hilton by Black Eyed Peas general manager Polo Molina.
“I’m gonna be honest with you, he’s gonna get a lot of flowers—not Perez, the manager,” Clarkson laughs. “I do not think violence is the answer, but what did you expect? You can’t say that much crap about people without having to say something.” [source]
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has been often criticized for being a leech on the Hollywood system. Famous for little more than scrawling insults on pictures of famous people on his blog, the gossip-hound emerged from seemingly out of nowhere in 2006 to quickly dominate the salacious side of entertainment journalism with his no-holds-barred attacks on the A-list.
Now, it seems, the A-list is getting their own back, as the controversy surrounding Toronto’s Much Music Awards, where Hilton was punched in the face after yelling anti-gay slurs and abuse at Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am, has lit up Twitter as celebrities pile on.
Malcolm in the Middle’s Frankie Muniz jumped into the fray, posting “Perez Hilton, how do you call a man a f—-t right in his face and not expect to get hit?”
Singer John Mayer added, “Perez Hilton’s video statement is so long that by the end of it his cut healed.”
Kirstie Alley has been victim of more than a few attacks by Hilton on his blog. She seemingly couldn’t be happier that Hilton got whacked, saying, “will.i.am? You am… my new hero.. Smack!!! Wah wah wah… ouch.. ouch my eye… ouch ouch ouch call 911… ouch boo hoo… ouch.”
She later followed that with a post saying, “Stop with the freakin ‘are you condoning violence’ s–t. Violence comes in many forms, not just black eyes. This b–ch’s tongue spews violence.”
New Kids on the Block singer Jonathan Knight chimed in, saying, “Haha, b—ch! A bag of frozen peas always works wonders when you get sucka punched in the eye,” adding later, “This is the best day ever.”
Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes tweeted, “Will.I.Am- 1, Perez-0, It’s about f–king time.”
Reality TV star and online phenomenon Tila Tequila dove in with more; “I find it ironic that Perez talks s–t about people all day long. He calls people f—–t yet bashes Miss California. Perez Hilton is a b–ch.”
Singer Kelly Clarkson said on a YouTube video, “I don’t think violence is the answer, but what did you expect? You can’t say that much crap about people without being able to take something, so …. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already …. I’m thinking how much did will.i.am pay his manager to do that (laughs) because you know he wanted to.”
Josh Duhamel, the husband of Black Eyed Peas member Fergie, who was abused by Hilton in one of his video rants after the incident, told Entertainment Tonight, “When you get rich saying hateful things sometimes you ask for it. It’s an unfortunate incident and I hope it goes away.” [source]
Will.I.AM decided to fight back against what he called a “lie” by setting up a Twitter account and posting a response video on his Dipdive website.
Will.I.Am is asking the question that everyone wants to know because if Perez Hilton was brutally assaulted then why didn’t he call the cops himself on his Sidekick instead of asking the world to call the police while he was tweeting on Twitter? Perez does admits he called Will.I.Am a f@ but said he didn’t deserve to get his butt whopped.
Perez says he tried to call the police but when they didn’t come he cried out for help on Twitter. Who do you believe?
Perez’s angry statement, branding Will.I.Am a “thug,” reminds us all that he will not be silent! Then Perez Mario tells of calling the rapper “a f*ggot,” leading up to the eye-punching and the blood and the tweeting. He wraps up with some real tears and a sobby thank you to everyone who undoubtedly clogged up Toronto emergency response lines, reminding Will.I.Am that God is shaming him! Shaming him! And he reiterates that Fergie is “fugly.” source
Related articles by ZemantaGossip blogger Perez Hilton took to his Twitter account early today to ask his followers for help after he says he was assaulted by Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am and his security guards.
Shortly after 3 a.m., Hilton sent a barrage of tweets about the alleged attack.
“I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP,” Hilton tweeted. “Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.”
He continues, “I was assaulted by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”
Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, is currently in Toronto where he attended Sunday night’s MuchMusic Awards.
After several more tweets for help, Hilton, 31, thanked his concerned followers, including Miley Cyrus, and asked them to stop calling the Toronto Police.
One hour later, Will.i.am created a Twitter account of his own “because it isn’t cool for someone to blame you and blast you with lies.”
The singer, 34, then posted a video response where he detailed the night’s events.
According to the singer, the disagreement began at the Ultra Supper Club where the blogger “disrespected” Will.i.am’s bandmate Fergie and said he didn’t like their new album, “The E.N.D.”
“It’s one thing to tell your opinion and it’s another thing to just go overboard and just be blatantly rude for no apparent reason,” Will.i.am said.
“It’s one thing to tell your opinion and it’s another thing to just go overboard and just be blatantly rude for no apparent reason,” Will.i.am said.
After the argument, both men found themselves at the same afterparty where a second argument ensued outside.
“I was the one that came to him with respect, and he was the one who called me a f—– outside the club,” Will.i.am said of the openly gay blogger.
According to the singer, the blogger’s derogatory remark upset one of the nearby fans who “get all crazy” and began to “start some stuff with Perez Hilton.”
In a second video posting, Will.i.am denies the assault and belittles the blogger for using Twitter to get help.
“Sounds like somebody wants mad attention and is not really concerned about his health,” Will.i.am said. [NYDN]
