Judge Bans Release of 'Real Housewives' Sex Tape at The Insider

'Real Housewife' on Past Arrest: No Big Deal

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub can breathe a sigh of relief.

The Associated Press reports that a judge on Wednesday ordered an injunction to stop the release of a reported sex tape pending a hearing next month. Staub alleges her ex-boyfriend Stephen Zalewski, who also appeared on the hit reality Bravo series, is trying to shop around a sex tape of her.

"I almost feel sorry for him that [he] needs that kind of attention, you gotta grab mine," she tells “The Insider” of Zalewski.

She went on to say: "We had a consensual relationship but what he is doing is unconsensual. I can't let my daughters be damaged by that."

Staub's lawyer filed a lawsuit Wednesday on behalf of the "housewife" that alleges invasion of privacy, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Her lawyer is alleging Staub was videotaped and photographed having sex without her knowledge by Zalewski.

If the ex can prove that she knew the camera was there he may have a case. It wouldn't be fair to say he can't sell something just because the mother doesn't want her daughters stumbling upon it.
