Elizabeth Taylor 'Devastated' by Jackson's Death

Dame Elizabeth Taylor is expressing her grief over the death of her dear friend Michael Jackson in a heartbreaking new statement.

"My heart ... my mind ... are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can't imagine life without him. We had so much in common and we had such loving fun together. I was packing up my clothes to go to London for his opening when I heard the news. I still can't believe it. I don't want to believe it. It can't be so. He will live in my heart forever but it's not enough. My life feels so empty. I don't think anyone knew how much we loved each other. The purest most giving love I've ever known. Oh God! I'm going to miss him. I can't yet imagine life without him. But I guess with God's help ... I'll learn. I keep looking at the photo he gave me of himself, which says, 'To my true love Elizabeth, I love you forever.' And, I will love HIM forever," Dame Elizabeth tells ET.

  • I know i wasnt a close friend of Michael, i feel like i was, but i am a fan and he loved me just for that reason by itself. I'm still very shocked...but i will do my best to write exactly what i feel. just to think that hes gone makes me sick to my stomach. i miss him so much and we all know that he left us way to soon, its just not right. I always think about him and Michael has been in my life since i was 2, i'm now 22 and my older brother has loved Michael for his entire life as well, his entire 28 years. Michael molded music around me and i have had a love affair with music my whole life because of him. I love him so extremely much, i cry almost everyday and i feel so lost honestly. My heart goes out to his 3 beautiful children and all of his family and very close friends. Michael was just a great person, so misunderstood and he was just an innocent who gave all of us amazing talent and a beautiful soul and he just wanted to share his gift with the entire world and make the world a better place.
    Michael I LOVE YOU so much and i will always miss you. Now you can finally have complete peace and i know the lord has opened his arms and gates for you. You are an angel Michael. I love you.

I just hate the way the so called !NEWS! is now making its own mind up about Michael, I am 64 Elizabeth not quite a teenager, I was so pleased you kept away from the memorial service . It was nothing like I had ever seen before but it was very touching. God bless you . your long life fan ... Carol

    I absolute feel with you, that you won’t participate in the obsequies for Mr. Michael Jackson. Today Mr. Jackson certainly is very close to you, apart from the massive spectacle. Your individual friendship surely will last for ever. It’s really a tragedy, that he often was alone during his life.   • My name is chinetta and i really love michael and janet jackson,all his songs are hits and he paved the way the artists of today and he will turly be missed and it broke my heart and i cried knowing he is gone.His family has my deepest sympathy and i reallh hope the media will let his family grieve in peace.We all did things that people dont agree with but,thats not for you to judge.Maybe now he can rest and everyone would leave him alone,so please give his family the respect they deserve and let them grieve in peace please,you would wont the same respect.Michael rest in peace i love you.
