"The Insider" has obtained a photograph of the King of Pop rehearsing just two days before his tragic, sudden passing.

The photo, taken on June 23 at L.A.'s Staples Center, shows Jackson rehearsing for his upcoming London tour.

"He had great energy," producer Ken Ehrlich tells People.com. Ehrlich is also an executive at AEG, the company promoting Jackson's planned tour.

Ehrlich goes on to tell People the following about Jackson:

"He was definitely in rehearsal mode [and] wasn't giving it full out. But vocally, he had started to really project. I thought he was in great form. He just seemed really healthy. He really looked good and he was very upbeat."

The pop icon passed away Thursday at the age of 50.
