Diane Dimond on the Latest Michael Jackson Reports

Investigative journalist Diane Dimond, who has been covering Michael Jackson since 1993, talks to "The Insider"'s Samantha Harris about the new reports that the drug Diprivan may have been the cause of his death.

"This could be the smoking gun that killed Michael Jackson. We won't know until the toxicology reports come back," Diane says.

According to Diane, Diprivan is a really strong drug used in hospitals. It is not for home use; it is to put people to sleep before surgery.

"It is really powerful, and, in the hands of somebody who doesn't know what they are doing, it can kill," Diane says.

The previously reported memorial for the King of Pop that was rumored to be taking place at Neverland is not happening, and the family has said that they will shortly announce the plans for a public tribute.

Diane tells "The Insider": "I believe they've decided to have it open casket. Fans are coming far and wide and they'll want to present Michael to his fan base."

Diane also says that she has heard that Diana Ross, Rev. Al Sharpton and Rev. Jesse Jackson plan to attend.

  • Diane Dimond is a disgusting person who has been spreading her lies for too many years. She has been obsessed by MJ, don't know why and a pal of Tom Sneddon, another obsessed person. She has paid to have people lie in interviews, all for money, greed, obsession. I wonder if she can see good in anything. She is no MJ expert, everything she reports about is hearsay and rumours. As someone who works in a Federal prison with sex offenders 5 days a week, I can tell you one thing. Don't believe what went down against Michael Jackson. That was a big time setup. He didn't settle with Chandler. His insurance company did as he was made so sick by the allegations he couldn't function. The fact remains that Jordan's description of Michael's private parts did not match reality. He said what his father told him to say. Burning in hell yet Evan? I was never a person who believed the allegations despite the fact that I had other favorite singers. I became informed because I wanted to know, and all I can say is she started, with Tom Sneddon, the destruction of Michael Jackson. Did he turn her down or something? Get her and her lying ways off the air now!! Come on people. Let's ruin her career and life.

    PS: My mother babysat many children not related to us and had them sleep in her bed with her at night. She never was accused of sexually molesting them. By the way, Jordan always said that nothing happened and refused to testify in court. Also, a psychiatrist determined that he, Jordan, was not telling the truth when he did tell the police when he talked to them. His father had asked MJ for $20, 000,000.00 to make a movie and was refused. Motive? MJ had refused him.

  • Unlike this clown, I will not gloat when her time comes. She, I am sure, was giddy as Michael was charged with the heinous crimes of child abuse. But, this horse will have her time and believe me she is not going to enjoy it at all.   • I cannot believe ET and the insider have Diane Dimond on its team. She is not even a fair reporter. We have seen her work over the years for other outlets, and I was so disappointed to see her on ET. You can just look at her face and voice, and she is happy about reporting sad news. She also does not report the truth . I will boycott ET and The Insider as long as they have this witch on.
