Michael Jackson's Funeral Plans Will Be 'fairytale' Like

It is understood new arrangements were being discussed to switch a memorial event to Los Angeles, where the singer died last Thursday. The singer's body was to have been transported into Neverland in a white carriage led by two horses and his body placed on view in a glass coffin to give fans a chance to say their personal farewells.

The change of plan is hardly a surprise: someone seemed to have overlooked the fact that a 'public event' permit is required for such gatherings and it was never certain that Jackson could be buried at the ranch - out here you need a permit for that kind of thing too.
Meanwhile, the Jackson family are expected to gather with showbusiness friends on Sunday for a 'private memorial', effectively his funeral.

Everyone's speculating on Michael Jackson's funeral. We know three things for sure.
-- it won't be until next week
-- it will not be at Neverland
-- it will be in the L.A. area, and the Staples Center is an option but it hasn't been decided.

Beyond that -- the family still hasn't made its decision.
