Kelsey Grammer received a rousing, heartfelt round of applause from guests at the 14th Annual Artists Against Abuse benefit gala last weekend. The actor, and part-time Hamptonite, surprised supporters of The Retreat: Domestic Violence Services by donating a walk-on role on his new ABC sitcom, Hank.
The show stars Grammer "in a timely comedy as Hank Pryor, a titan of industry who suddenly finds himself out of work, almost out of money and around a wife and kids for whom he's never made much time. Despite his recent setbacks, however, Hank is confident he's on the road back to the top. He knows he is destined to return to greatness. And he's just not the greatness he imagines."
The Hank walk-on was huge hit, and one of the highest bids of the evening, as was Grammer's second offering, a set visit to the show Medium. Kelsey is executive producer for both shows. In total, Kelsey & Camille Grammer raised an amazing $25,000 for The Retreat!
