Sarah Palin is resigning as Alaska governor.The former Republican VP candidate says she'll step down from office on July 26, reports the Associated Press.
Palin's spokesperson didn’t specify why she is resigning, but the AP says the move has created buzz that she might attempt to run for president in 2012.
