Report: Sleeping Drug Discovered in Jackson Home

Report: Michael Jackson’s Death to be Investigated

A new development has reportedly come to light in the Michael Jackson death investigation.

A law enforcement source tells the Associated Press that Diprivan was discovered in Jackson's home.

Diane Dimond, who has been covering Jackson since 1993, tells "The Insider" that Diprivan is a sedative that is typically used in hospitals. Click here for video of Dimond's full explanation about the effects of the drug.

Earlier in the week, officials visited Jackson's rented L.A. home and seized various medications for the LAPD's investigation.

  • It must be so much easier to 'investigate' his parenting skills and whether or not drugs were in the home... AFTER the fact! If so many people knew BEFORE he died that he was doing drugs, why did Children's agencies investigate AT THAT TIME. Now, everything that is said is predjudicial based on which side of the fence you favour. His children lost their father, they are vulnerable and easily misled into saying something that is not true, but based on HOW the question is phrased. Just get over it. Move on. Decide where the kids go from here, not where they came from, not what happened. That's then. This is now, and NOW is where the kids must live. SO... where do the kids WANT to live? AND KEEP THEM TOGETHER!!! Damn people.... try some common sense and compassion!

    • I am really sad about MJ's death.I am not that big fan of Music but i believe he is talented. what made me sad is that he was lonely most of the times. I just wish people stopped judging him for what he did wrong because noone is perfect anyway.

  • The guy died an addict and broke.......he was broke but yet lived in a house that was $100,000 a month rent....I don't get it....greed......stop making him out to be hero....he was far from that....he was an example of what not to be, how not to live your life......sorry it's the truth. Was he talented....yes more then anyone before him and since him.

  • I believe that Michael was a lost soul; a little boy in a man's body and no matter how much he enjoyed making others happy---despite the joy that it brought him---it was brief joy. Once Michael got home and the spotlight was off he became as human as the rest of us. I agree with posts that point the finger at Dr's---Michael didn't like to be told 'no' and these Dr's new that. They cashed in on him...not giving a damn about him as a human being. Michael's death was premature, senseless. Never should have happened. God look after Michael for his family and for those of us who believed in him.
