Tickets to Michael Jackson Memorial Service Released

After an overwhelming amount of Michael Jackson fans registered over the weekend for free tickets to the King of Pop's memorial the tickets have been released, and the winning registrants have been notified.

"The Insider" confirms that ticket winners received vouchers from Ticketmaster via e-mail, and were instructed to pick up their tickets Monday June 6 at Dodger Stadium.

Winners were determined by a random drawing of 8,750 of the total number of registrants. Those selected will receive two tickets to the memorial service Tuesday June at either the Staples Center, or the live simulcast at the Nokia Theatre.

1.6 million people signed up for the lottery for tickets to the King of Pop's public memorial service. Registration began on Friday, July 3 at 10 a.m. PT and ended on July 4 at 6 p.m.

No tengo palabras para describir lo vivido. Creci con Michael , sus cancione y sus bailes, pero ahora tengo de recuerdo el 2 books, 2 tickets and 2 brasalets. Tengo tambien muchas fotos para el recuerdo
    del interior y exterior del Staples Center...... No se si vender un juego!!!!!!, Bye.

  • Wow! What is with many fans reaction to winning tickets? One person went as far as to say "they have never won anything in their life" and they were excited about winning these tickets. Excited? If it were me it would be emotional and it would something to reflect upon but it's not like you just won a million dollars. This is not a concert, it's a service. Guess what people? Michael is not going to perform. Excited isn't the emotion that comes to mind for me I guess. I'm sure there will be other tributes to celebrate his music but this is a memorial because he has passed.
